I wanted a fresh start from High School so I joined Uxbridge College due to its reputation for being the best and my friends’ recommendations. I feel very comfortable here. The teachers are very supportive, helpful, understanding and attentive of student needs. The Student Support Team have been very helpful as well. I like Uxbridge College because as a big college, it gives me the chance to have my own space and it provides for students’ needs.
Aloka joined Uxbridge College as a part-time Functional Skills English student and quickly gained her L1 and L2 English qualifications in 4 months. I came to Uxbridge College as it was one of the few colleges that taught games development. The lessons are great and interactive. The lecturers not only teach well and are knowledgeable but also make the lessons enjoyable and fun. I would definitely recommend the college to those wishing to pursue a career in games development

I joined Uxbridge College because it had the course I wanted to study. I love cooking and I want to continue my studies here to do the Level 1 catering course. My experience has been very positive here, I get a lot of help and support from my tutors and Learning Support Assistants when needed. All the staff here are very helpful and kind. I have made many good friends here too. I enjoy my course and especially my work experience at Dovetail Dining Centre, prepping food, laying tables and meeting customers. If you are planning to join Uxbridge College I’d say ‘go for it’ as it is one of the greatest colleges ever!

The best thing about Uxbridge College is their kind and supportive staff. They are always there to help me, be it with extra support lessons or spending extra time to help me understand. The overall environment at the College is very good. The engineering workshops are well-equipped and I can work safely in them. There is always someone to help and guide you through your course here.
I decided to join Uxbridge College because of its good reputation and excellent facilities. I have had opportunities to develop not just academically but also personally. My teachers are very supportive and helpful. The workshops I practice in, are well-equipped with the latest machinery and we have knowledgeable technicians. Everyone is friendly and the teaching is very good. I enjoy my practical lessons and the work experience opportunities given to me. I am hoping to get into a plumbing apprenticeship after my course. The facilities for my course are very good, they have everything we need to learn for the practical aspects of our course.
The tutors and staff here are excellent and the College is not just a good place to study in but to be around in general. My practical and theory lessons are extremely helpful and enjoyable at the same time. I’d like to thank my teachers for helping me learn and achieve in the trade I love. They have been very supportive not just in class, but even during lockdown, ensuring I was up to date with my work and also checking if I was ok in general– which is very important as well. The facilities for plumbing are good and always equipped for all. I would definitely recommend the College, joining here has been the best decision I’ve ever made.

The support I receive at Uxbridge College is great. I can turn to my teachers or any childcare staff for help with studies or any concerns that I may have. This has helped me feel comfortable and secure, knowing that I have help when I need it. My teachers are patient with me, break down things for me to make it easier to understand, thus allowing me to stay on track with my studies and not fall behind. I want to work as a teaching assistant in a school once I complete my course. The facilities in College are good, the LRC is where I go between lessons to keep up with my work and studies.
