The Sports Academy gives 16-18 students the chance to undergo sport training alongside their vocational or academic course at the college.

We offer basketball, cricket, rugby and netball, all linked with local clubs.

Students benefit from high-quality coaching, first-class training facilities, inter-college matches and the opportunity to gain coaching qualifications.

Alongside their full-time studies, students train and compete to a good standard, developing their playing ability and fitness levels alongside their career prospects.

The Sports Academy has also trained students who have progressed to professional, semi-professional and national league clubs in the UK.

Some have gained scholarships to American universities and several have played professionally in the USA and Brazil.
