NCFE Level 1 Diploma in Caring for Children (N1DCCF)

You should have an interest in the subject area you are applying for. There are no formal entry requirements but we will assess your level of English and maths to make sure you are working at Entry Level 3 or above. This is to ensure you are able to meet the course requirements.

The qualification is designed for learners who would like to develop their understanding of the main issues in relation to childcare learning and development.

A mixture of class based learning and hands on activities, including some work experience.

This course will be assessed by written coursework designed to build a portfolio.

Level 2 Apprenticeships

The objectives of this qualification are to prepare learners for further training and to support a role in the workplace. Learners can progress to the following qualifications:

• Level 2 in Health and Social Care
  
• Level 2 Diploma for the Early Years Practitioner
  
• Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in schools.
