Entry requirements
There is an interview and initial assessments in maths and English.
If you are 19+ you would be fully funded if you are:- Unemployed and in receipt of an eligible benefit for example, Universal Credit, Job Seekers Allowance, Employment and Support Allowance)
- Out of work and outside of benefits arrangements
- Low wage (Earning below £25,64250 per annum).

Who is the course for?
This qualification is suitable for those who are looking to work in, or widen their knowledge of the adult social care sector. The course will develop your knowledge of the responsibilities of the adult social care worker, the diverse needs of the people using the services and other important factors such as person-centred approaches, abuse and safeguarding.

Study methods
12 directed taught workshops - 1 half day per week (Tuesdays 10-1pm).

How is the course assessed?
Candidates will need to complete 20 credits from 9 mandatory units.
Candidates will be required to complete written assignments. -

You may be eligible to be co-funded if you do not meet the criteria. You may have to pay a fee to cover part of the cost of the training.
Eligibility for funding is subject to evidence being provided and relevant declarations being completed. -
