Trainees will study a range of teaching and learning topics and there will be a practice teaching session (micro-teach).

Who is the course for?
This course is for those who are interested in taking an introductory course in teaching in post-16 i.e. Further Adult and Community Education as teachers or trainers. No previous experience is required in teaching or training.

Study methods
Incorporate reading and research of specific texts related to the topics studied and there is also time allocated for studies to be completed electronically using online searches and blogs.

How is the course assessed?
Assessment is through short written assignments presented in a final portfolio of evidence. The practice teaching session (micro-teach) is also presented within the portfolio.
