Who is the course for?
Develop your skills and underpinning knowledge to work or progress your career in the electrical contracting industry.
This qualification is for you if you are a 16-18-year-old learner, who wishes to work within the Building Services Industry.
It has been designed to deliver a high level of knowledge about the BSE industry as well as the occupational skills required to enter the industry (known as ‘threshold competence’). A learner who completes this qualification is well placed to develop to full occupational competence with the correct support and training. -

Lecture, practical workshops, tutorials, work experience, private study periods, projects and assignments.

How is the course assessed?
Assessment overview: Learners will be assessed against the following assessment themes: Health & safety, Design & planning, Installation and Reports. The core component will be assessed through a project set by employers in the industry and two externally-set exams. The occupational specialism in electrical installation is assessed through a project that is created in conjunction with relevant employers. The Occupational Specialisms are graded overall Distinction, Merit, Pass and Ungraded. T Level qualification grade will be overall Distinction, Distinction, Merit, Pass and Ungraded.

Where Next – Further Studies
This course can lead to further study. The course also covers parts of the underpinning knowledge elements of the NVQ in Electrotechnical services with possible progression to Apprenticeships, 1:1 meeting with the team will be required.
