Course content includes:
- Fitness Testing and Training
- Practical Sport
- Planning and Leading Sports Activities
- Technical Skills and Tactical Awareness for Sport
- Nutrition for Sports Performance
- Development of Personal Fitness
- Planning and Running a Sports Event.
Units are subject to change depending on demand of local skills.

Entry requirements
4 GCSEs (grades 3/4 preferably) including English and/or Maths or a Merit on a relevant Level 1 qualification.

Who is the course for?
This course option is for those with proven playing ability, which will be selected by trial, who seek a first class education and have predicted grades 3/4 at GCSE level and want to work in the sports industry.

Study methods
College classes will take place over a five day period and will consist of a variety of lectures, videos, outside speakers, research, student presentations and day trips to appropriate sites.

A combination of written assignments, presentations and practical assessments.
