Sharon McCann, Uxbridge College Enterprise, Volunteering and Citizenship Coordinator, said: “It was great to see Uxbridge College and Brunel University students in partnership in this year’s Good Deed Day, which was even bigger and better than the last. It was a unique opportunity for all those involved to put their energies into supporting their local community and it is really incredible to see what can be achieved in one day.”
Mike Crane, Business Development Manager for Uxbridge Forward, said: “It was a brilliant and thoroughly successful day with great engagement with the community.”
Steve Hickman from Hillingdon Hospital said: “The students were all very keen and enthusiastic and did everything I asked of them. They managed to get the first coat of paint up in the library which looks great now as it's much cleaner and brighter.”
